In recent years Shenpar has built engines and prepard vehicles contesting various British national championships, plus re-built, modified and tuned a considerable number of road engines.

Apart from its normal range of engineering services, Shenpar has invested in workshop expansion and can also boast its own rolling road, flow bench and engine dynamometer. Specialist equipment has also been installed to support ignition mapping, throttle body development and computerised engine diagnostic systems.

Although primarily Peugeot specialists, Shenpar, with their extensive experience, can accomodate most makes of vehicles. As the range of usable Peugeot competition vehicles increased, a decision to specialise was made, and in January 1999 Shenpar launched its Peugeot Performance Engine programme to support all Road, Race and Rally applications.

 

Fast road cylinder head and camshaft conversions for Peugeot XU and TU engines in 106, 205, 206 and 306 cars. Improvements from 10-80 bhp over a standard unit can be achieved for road, race and rally applications. Further power can be attained by using one of our carburettor or throttle body conversions.

Polished & Ported to fast road, rally or race spec, equalised combustion chambers, gasflow developed, standard or lightweight valves and improved valve seat design.

Camshafts profiled to suit your cylinder head modifications and vernier pulley to maximise your camshaft timing.

For a more comprehensive engine service, we are able to offer a complete engine rebuild or a development of your current engine to fast Road, Race, or Rally Specification. This can include lightening, balancing, blue-printing and increased engine capacity.

A 'Mouthwatering' option that we can offer is to replace your existing engine with one of increased capacity, or a 16 valve unit.
